How do you replace the AC belt on a Ligier / Microcar moped car with a Lombardini 492 DCI engine?

How do you remove the AC belt on Ligier & Microcar moped cars? Here at Minicarspares, we guide you through the process of taking off the AC belt on Ligier & Microcar moped cars. This step is also necessary if you plan to replace the alternator belt, as the AC belt must be removed first to access it. This procedure applies to the following models equipped with the Lombardini LDW / DCI 492 engine with an AC system:

Ligier Ixo, JS50, JS50L & JS60

Microcar M.GO 3, 4, 5 & 6

Microcar Due 2, Due 3 & Due 6

How to Remove the AC Belt?

1. Unscrew the bolt marked with the letter "L" as shown in the image. 


2. After that, simply remove the AC belt. 

To reinstall the old AC belt or fit a new one, just follow the same steps in reverse order.
