- 2-post lift or jack with jack stands

Step-by-step: How to Replace the Rear Shock Absorber

1. Lift the car and remove the wheel

- Safely lift the rear of the car using a lift or jack.
- Unscrew the four wheel nuts.
- Remove the wheel.

2. Remove the shock absorber

- Unscrew the upper bolt that holds the shock absorber to the chassis.
- Then, unscrew the lower bolt at the wheel suspension.
- Pull out the entire shock absorber.

3. Install the new shock absorber

- Install the new shock absorber in the same position.
- Reinstall and tighten both the upper and lower bolts.
- Put the wheel back on and tighten the wheel nuts.
